Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Representative Michelle Bachman of Minnesota wrote an article titled While the World Cuts Taxes, America Looks the Other Way detailing the competitive disadvantage U.S. firms have with their foreign counterparts and advocates cutting the corporate income tax rate. Apparently she is not aware The Fair Tax will reduce the rate to zero. Has anyone spoken with her about The Fair Tax?

No, but I'm sure if 1300+ FTN members all contact her she'll know about it :)

I honestly think some politicians knows its there but won't bring it up for fear of people learning about it.
Its not whats best for America....its whats best for them as far as they're concerned.
WRONG!!!
Tried emailing her, but she has it blocked only to accept her district. Tried pulling the zip code for that area, then it wanted the zip +4.
Michelle Bachman is just a Republican lightning rod, give her enough time to talk about it and she will confuse and or contradict herself. Also when your in the largest economy having the largest corporations sort of goes hand in hand. Our corporate tax is 35% and adjusted We and Japan both average a 39% corporate tax. Demark is about 25% But come on it's Denmark, it's like trying to compare a Big Wheel to a Harley Davidson, sure the Harley uses more gas and needs filter Changes and all... But it's a Harley. Ireland is about the lowest I believe but Ireland has managed to set a record for starvation, homelessness, and all around job loss and unemployment long before we had our crisis, so it's hardly the model for low corporate tax benefits to the nation.
To get around the zip code filtering (it's idiotic and is something the House IT people dreamed up). Just put in a fake zip code from somewhere in the district. It's easy to find one. Just google a business in the area and find out their mailling address.

When I send a message to a represenator who has employed this filtering, I include a P.S. telling them there is an easier (and less alienating) way to filter out email from outside their district. Just set up the email filtering to put messages from district zip codes in one folder and messages from non-district zip codes in a separate folder. It is a simple thing to do. Even the House IT people can figure out how to do that.

Then they can either ignore the messages from outside the district or not. It's their choice.
