It's Time to Take Action!
The FairTax will pass when our grassroots membership grows large enough to demand it. We need at least 10,000 voters in each of the 41 districts represented by a Member on the House Ways and Means Committee, this includes North Carolina's 2nd Congressional District. We plan ongoing Calls to Action as the FairTax groundswell builds, and contacting our supporters via e-mail is the most timely and cost-effective method available. It is very important that you provide us with a valid e-mail address so that we can communicate with you going forward. In the meantime, get involved. Plan an event, set up a FairTax table somewhere, go to a training session or just tell a friend. Take the first step, and the next step will follow.
The FairTax will change just about every aspect of our economic lives for the better, and you can help bring about this historic change. Take action!

I just called (11:00 am today) Congressman Etheridge's Washington office (202-225-4531) but could not get Chris Medley or Congressman Etheridge on the line. Left message on the importance of addressing the FairTax issue.

Mike - et al - HEY we (everyone) needs to get as many Fairtax shirts and hats in front of local TV cameras at these local town halls coming up - although if the front had larger print - it would be more effective - can we license the logo and print our own t's and sweats?

I just called Congressman Etheridge's office. The woman who answered said she didn't know his position on the Fair Tax, but she asked me for mine and said she would let him know I called, and asked for my contact information.

My call to Congressman Etheridge. I was told that I would receive a call back from Chris Modley, legislative assistant to the Congressman. They could not tell me a time frame as to when I would expect a call back. I will try again next Friday if I do not receive a call back by then.

Please plan to call Congressman Etheridge the week of Feb. 9-13 and ask for his position on the FairTax. If the person you speak with is not familiar with the FairTax tell them that it is bill HR25 and they can learn about the FairTax by visiting www.FairTax.org.

Bob Etheridge contact: Mon. - Fri.
Phone: (202) 225-4531

Please plan to call, post the results of you call in a discussion on the Group page.

Yes we just did. Hope to get a better response then the last one we sent last year. Maybe he will take a better look at this now.
