Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25 and S 122
What do you think is going to happen in California????
With the present impasse in Sacramento and the big deficit and no sign of any of these politicians trying to come to an agreement, taxes are going to rise in this state and with the present economy this will destroy a lot of people.

I think that from previous experience in this situation we will see the no tax increase people cave in and raise taxes. This has happened before here in Ca. and the people who should hold the line will go along with the spenders and raise taxes.

I love California other than the government. It may make sense for everyone to team up on one state (like Missouri) and get a state version of the FairTax passed there & then move to Missouri to take advantage of the favorable environment that results...
California & other states would be hurt more (due to exodus of businesses and residences).
Missouri (and all natives and new residents) would prosper.
The model would be set for others to follow...
This being said, I would hate to leave this great state... but I would strongly consider it...
