Denver Tea party

Hello Everyone,
First, I am very excited to find a Colorado group. I look forward to discussing ideas and helping to get the word out about the FairTax.

It looks like there is an organized Tax revolt (Tea Party) planned for Denver. I plan on being at the steps of the state capital on April 15th wearing my Fairtax T, and passwing out the attached flyer I received in an e-mail from Fairtax.org.

Hope to see some more of the group there.

Hello Brian, yes that would help:

City: Denver
When: April 15, 12:00pm - 1:30pm
Where: West steps of the Capitol, 200 East Colfax

I actually found it on http://taxdayteaparty.com/ - however, I'm hoping we can make a showing.

I live in Montrose so I won't be able to attend but don't forget to bring your video camera. I doubt the press will give you much, if any, coverage regardless of how many show up. Guys like Glenn Beck will use your video and give you the coverage you deserve if the press won't. Good luck.

The Tea party was great, I would estimate around 7000+ Good speakers. I was disappointed not seeing more FairTax people there. I passed out over 100 flyers, I just hope I can reach at least one new recuit to the cause.

Of course, we are all now classified as possible terrorist by the new Obama Homeland security policy.

I wish I would have met up with you, I was there with my kids. I was wearing my FairTax t-shirt pushing my twins in the stroller around the crowd, hoping to see some FairTaxers. No luck, Some People did comment in the positive, though. Next time more organization from us.
