What if the only tax you pay the federal government

is one you don’t have to calculate or report?

Only the FairTax:

• treats everyone the same
• let’s you keep your entire paycheck
• pays you your taxes if you’re poor
• doesn’t know whether you’re poor or rich
• eliminates the IRS and 72,000 pages of tax code
• costs the government less than 1% to collect
• brings jobs back to the U.S.

Pictured (attached) clockwise starting forward left, are Bill Spillane, California, Jim Bennett, New Jersey, Marilyn Rickert, Illinois, Sean Matula, Grassroots Coordinator, AFFT, Terry Stockham, Chief Operating Officer, AFFT, John Collet, Missouri, and Phil Hinson, Georgia. Bill, Phil, John, Marilyn and Jim are the original members of a Grassroots Leadership Council. Terry is a non-voting member.

The initial charge of the Council is to represent the grassroots and make more effective use for the grassroots of resources available to it from Americans for Fair Taxation. The charge is also to develop a strategic plan to grow the grassroots.

To build our Grassroots efforts in the D.C. area, I plan to host an informal FairTax "tea party" at the Days Inn Hotel http://www.dcdaysinn.com/

Sunday afternoon March 1 from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm.

I have a conference room that will hold a dozen people, but I would be happy to look for a larger meeting room to accommodate additional FairTax advocates as needed.
