Be sure to stop by the FairTax booth at the GNOTP Tea Fest event this Sunday 1pm - 4pm at the American Legion Hall Post 350 in Metairie! Senator David Vitter and Maj. Gen. Hunt Downer will be guest speakers! You must RSVP to this event, so message me for details!

Another note: Do not forget tonight's webinar at 7pm central time. Tonight's topic is the positive effect the Fairtax will have on charitable giving. These webinars are a great source for speaking points!

Last night I attended the 2010 Sine Die social hour/Legislative wrap up with LA GrassRoots Network. Robin and her group worked very hard to get HB 1474 passed! Now LA can fight Obamacare! She will be working with me to get the FairTax promoted at a few upcoming events in Southern LA. The LGN is next focusing on campaigns this November, and it was great to be able to meet some good people who are getting things done!

All - I received a call from Sen. Vitter's office yesterday. I am hoping to revive his support for the bill for this election season. Mike Spears (I) is also a candidate for the seat, and is considering for his platform. A Libertarian candidate from Mandeville, Anthony Gentile, features the bill on his website. So we have a very strong support among our Senate Candidates here in LA! I am so proud!

That is a great idea Tommy. If anyone has an event going on in their town where we can promote the FairTax, post it on here and we can organize a booth!

Here is an idea. Doug will get a booth different fairs and festival in Shreveport to promote the Fair Tax. They just go to meet and greet and try to donation to pay for the booths. I would be interested in doing this and looking for other.

We are looking for volunteers to staff a FairTax booth at the Southern Republican Leadership Conference April 8 - 11, 2010. Most SRLC events will be held in the New Orleans Riverside Hilton, located at 2 Poydras Street, New Orleans, LA 70130

Confirmed speakers include Haley Barbour, Newt Gingrich, Bobby Jindal, Sarah Palin, Tim Pawlenty, Mike Pence, Rick Santorum and more.

We need your help for a few hours to the entire event!
