Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Urging politicians' support

In my opinion I think many politicians don't support the Fair Tax because it would make raising taxes too visible to the taxpayers. How can we promote the Fair Tax to politicians in a manner that would overcome this??

I think the benefits of the FairTax are evident to anyone who takes the time to understand it. As far as the politicians are concerned if they will not support the bill because it's the right thing for our Country, then they have to be convinced that not supporting it is hazardous to their continued employment.

The FairTax will not become law because the politicians decide to support it. It will become law when a sufficient amount of the people declare that nothing else is acceptable.

Contact your representatives and explain to them that even if they do everything right between now and re-election day, if their opponent, whoever it is, has declared support of the FairTax and they have not you will vote for their opponent.

They need to understand that supporting the FairTax is a deal breaker.

We need candidates in all 50 states, which might mean someone stepping up to the plate that is not a politician and begging for support to save our country from all these socialist ideas that have been proven not to work. Wish I was in a position to take off a year and do such a thing.

I think you have just described me. Although I can't take a year off to pursue public office, I am running just the same and was sold on the FairTax over a year and a half ago when I first investigated it (quite some time before I finalized the decision to run for public office).

I am not a career politician and have never held public office before, but I am going to do my utmost to win the primary and the general election for the U.S. House of Representatives for Missouri's 5th District.
