New Jersey Volunter Opportunity

We have a New Jersey FairTax volunteer opportunity for someone who enjoys telephoning and doesn't mind keeping lists. I have in mind at least one person and a back-up.

We have started gathering contact information at seminars, street fairs, and other events on sheets like the one attached and, possibly, post cards. We have found that the most effective way to get volunteers and grow our base from our efforts is one-on-one, person-to-person contact by telephone from a fellow New-Jerseyan within a day or two following the event.

The objective of the phone calls would be to gauge the level of interest of each person in the FairTax, i.e., passive, active, or in-between, and assign that person to a category. We may need to discuss how to handle the step from an MIS viewpoint. The effort would help us in more effectively managing our current and potential volunteers and growing our movement in New Jersey.
