Has anyone else gotten a response from Mel yet?

I wrote him about a year and half ago. I got a response saying that he felt that this was not a good thing for his district, mostly saying that it would be unfair to the lower income. Obviously, he was not familiar with the FT. Just curious to see if anyone else had gotten a response from him on this.
