Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Robin Smith

I just sent a message to Robin Smith, candidate for TN's 3rd Congressional District, asking her to speak at our next meeting on October 15th. I should hear back from her within 1-2 days. Not sure when the next email reminder is going out, but it might be a good idea to wait a couple of days to see if she will agree to speak.

If she doesn't, I'll contact Tim Gobble and see if he has any interest. As soon as I get confirmation either way, I'll let everyone know.

Have we gotten a response from Robin and/or Tim? Meeting is a week from tomorrow (10-15) so need to get announcements, invitations and flyers out. Or are we still on the 3rd Thursday schedule at Ryan's? Thanks.

Robin has never even given me the courtesy of a reply of any kind. Checking her off the list for the 3rd District for sure. We're still on for the 3rd Thursday at Ryan's as far as I know. If you need to send the email and flyers go ahead without a guest speaker for this one.

I'm still going to contact Tim Gobble and see if he's interested. If he is, we may not be able to get it on the flyer, but we could send out another email announcing that he will be speaking. He may not be able to make it on short notice. Perhaps I should give him the option of coming in November, so that we have more time to get the word out, etc.

I've not been able to get a hold of Gobble either, so it looks like no guest speaker this month. Sorry.
