Just keep talking it up Steve!!  That is the best way to get people to listen.

Well here we go again with the county caucus tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions? I understand there was a nasty game played someplace in the state by one of the campaigns.  I don't think that is a good thing and really engenders hard feelings. It will back fire on the campaign and will not help in pulling the party together. I plan to talk the Fair Tax up if I can get the floor and hopefully we can get it imbedded in the platform and make some more local contacts working to support the Fair Tax.

Hi all, congratulations Steve for being voted to attend the County convention.  PO county had 195 turn out for their 27 precints.  I do not know if the fair tax was discussed at any of the caucus meetings.  I was surprised that Paul had won and their were 19 undecided.  Santorum was second, followed by Mitt and Newt.  I will be attending our convention on April 14th.

Guys and Gals,

I am just reporting on our Caucus here. We met in a neighbor’s home and had a great meeting.  Turned out he was a closet fair tax supporter. Yea!

I was then elected to be the rep from the caucus to the county level and as such will be allowed to speak to the county level.

We had 15 members from our local group. That number is considerably higher than in the past which would seem to indicate a strong concern be a good sign for November.

The good thing was that I was allowed the floor to talk about the Fair Tax for several minutes. We had a great discussion and 3 of us were there to field fair Tax questions for the group and I think it went well.  I have promised several books and some are talking about having me come and speak to some groups.

We were also able to place on the platform the Fair Tax plank. This will assure we get a voice at the county level and maybe on to the state level.

I am amazed how quickly this is building here. We should soon have a presence in 5 and voice for Kathy R M to hear.

Get active folks! We need you opening your mouth now. Buy some cheep books on Amazon and give them out. Educate and follow up! Anything helps.  Let’s keep this press on till the congress has to answer us.

There is nothing to be ashamed of in the Fair Tax Proposal.

Any one else have a local caucus report?

For God and Country, Go Fair Tax

Steve, I like your suggestion and makes sense.  It is an excellent idea.  Together, we can and will win.  The Fair Tax is the only reform that would allow, as the President says, "Everyone pay their fair share".

Group,

I understand Greg’s comments here. It is hard! It will be worth the price we pay in time and energy and we must not quit. This is one issue which should go across party lines. Here is something you can do tomorrow.

Below is the language you should print out and have with you for tomorrow’s caucus meetings. Be sure to be their early. Please take extra copies of this and a glue stick if you have one and insert it into either the platform under the tax plank while crossing out the existing verbiage or present it as a resolution. Ask every one else to do the same thing. Notify your chairman you have made these changes.

"That the Government of the United States of America amend the U.S.Constitution by repealing the sixteenth amendment, abolish the Internal Revenue Service and adopt a federal consumption tax (herein called The Fair Tax) on all new goods & services as the sole financial support of the U.S.Government thereby eliminating Social Security Tax, Medicare Tax, all Death Taxes, self-employment taxes, alternative minimum tax, gift taxes, capital gains taxes, and tax audits as set forth in HR 25 "The Fair Tax Act"-and its companion bill in the U.S. Senate."

That is great news Steven.  I plan on being on the call also if I can find my note on it.  Jamie, can you give us a reminder and the access number?  I have on my calender the 21st, but I forgot to put down the details.  I put that note to myself somewhere I could find it and go right to it.  You know, one of those senior moments.

Ok, guys and gals, we got some positive traction here this week, My neighbor read and returned the book. Said he joined on line somewhere. I think maybe national and I have sent him a link to join District 5 and invited him on our confrence call. Jamie I intend to be on call with you.

Time to follow up on my other book placements and see if they are as excited as Bob.

Steven, Great job!!  The more we spread the word about the fair tax, it is a domino affect.

Jamie,

Got the packet, thanks.

One more book placed to my barber yesterday and a group meeting at the local hamburger shop on friday evening resulted in introducing the Fair tax to 4 more guys.  At least they now know what it is and maybe where to look for answers.

Jimmy, I try to attend that event every year, I bet we have talked about your mustang before.
