Missouri Fairtax proponents stormed the capitol in Jeff City January 27th to lobby their congressman and senators for passage of the Missouri tax reform bill HJR-56, and companion bill SJR-29. Here is a picture of Representative Ellen Brandom (who is a supporter of the house bill) with 3 such activists, from left, Dan Dickerson, Community Coordinator, Jackson, MO, Barbara Nimmo, Fairtax Supporter, Sikeston, MO and John McMillen, Community Coordinator, Sikeston, MO. Representative Brandom brought us onto the side bar of the House Floor to introduce us to other HJR-56 sponsors and supporters. It was great! We also met with our State Senator Jason Crowell who is also a staunch supporter of the SJR-29 bill that has just passed out of committee. Now is the time for all Fairtax supporters to throw all their weight behind Missouri Fairtaxers and push these bills through. We are nearing the crest of the hill. CHARGE!!!
