My name is Chris Durbin and I support the Fair Tax Act.
I have a request. I do not want any money and I do not want you to sign a petition. I don’t even want you to go to a meeting. I just want every one of you who reads this to call your congressmen and senators and tell them who you are. Then I would like for you to tell them that if they do not get a vote scheduled on the Fair Tax Act before the next election that you, as a voting member of the population, will not vote for them in the next election. You will replace them with someone who will get the vote done. It does not matter whether they support the act or not (Politicians are very good at verbalizing and then later rationalizing). A new motto…No vote, No Vote!
Far too many deals are going on in congress, too many special interests and lobby groups are spending money to get done what we the people should do. Take responsibility for your country. It is time to do the right thing! We the people can and will replace every one of our elected officials.
Thank them for their time and call the next guy.
I would ask that everyone pass this on to everyone in their address book, regardless of political affiliation. If they think the Fair Tax Act deserves a vote they will call, if not they still might. Great. This is America and everyone has a right to be heard!
Please note that this is not a chain letter or petition. The only thing that will happen if you do not pass it on to your friends is a continuation of the garbage currently occurring in congress.
Thanks for your idea about the taxi party! What a creative idea. We are going to be meeing with our congressman in DC on April 15, I hope you are able to come. More details soon.

Hi Kentucky FairTaxers!
I just received an invitation from Dawn Cloyd to participate in the Bluegrass Tax Revolt Day April 18. I am Barbara, FairTax Community Coordinator, in Centerville, OH.
This would be a great opportunity to educate more people about the FairTax!
The booth cost for this event would be $ 100.
I would be willing to come from Centerville, OH with FairTax literature for all and hopefully with enough volunteers to man the booth.
What I need from you is a small contribution to cover the $100 cost of the Booth.
I will also be looking for a Speaker for this event. What an opportunity, lets seize the moment!!!
FYI :Dawn Cloyd, of Lexington, is a board member of the Bluegrass Institute for Public Policy Solutions (http://www.bipps.org/)
PS Please let me know how I can help you to help me make this happen!!
"We're only as effective as our membership is active".
I see my "job description" in the FairTax movement is to listen to the volunteers and help find the resources they need to move the FairTax forward. If I can help you with anything FairTax, please let me know!
Feel free to invite your FairTax friends to the site we have a lot of work to do to get the FairTax passed.
