I am not a tax attorney or a CPA but my understanding is as an individual taxpayer, 501(C)3 donations are deductible against your personal income taxes while 501(c)4 are not deductible.

FairTax has both with types of tax status with the 501(c)3 for educational and research purposes. The 501(c)4 allows us to talk to elected officials about the FairTax.

When the FairTax passes all this nonsense will be history. You will be able to give your money to anyone you like with zero tax liability for you. Freedom!

We are part of www.FairTax.org. Americans For Fair Taxation (AFFT) is our legal name but is far too long to be helpful so we just go by our website address. AFFT/FairTax.org is based in Houston TX.

We are the people who did the research, wrote the bill, and got it introduced into Congress.

Welcome to FairTax Nation!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
