The "mindset" here in Lake Forest Park, WA (Seattle area) is incredibly slanted towards the progressives and the status quo! I have spoken to my conservative friends and they give the Fair Tax 1 in 1000 in getting passed within my lifetime. I'd like to lower those odds and am exploring ways to help educate the voter block here in WA. Hope this call will help me.
I am sooooo sorry your conservative friends are okay with allowing that to come true. Together maybe we can prove to them that by doing nothing what we don't want to happen will. So lets do something! I have hand out and business cards if you would like some zip me your postal address I'll send 25 hand outs and 50 business cards...how about a bumper sticker?
One person can do a whole lot and I'm living proof as I just found out about the FairTax in 2006. Currently WA state has LESS than a dozen community coordinators, 2 of 9 District Directors...but I'm not letting that hinder me.
Are you connected with any Tea Parties? Which ones? Ask if you can speak or would they be willing to discuss taking up the torch for the FairTax?
Your US Congressional Dist Number is 01...I think.... Who is the one who is supposed to be Representing you in DC? When I googled it said Jay Inslee but I know the boundries are tricky over there.
PLEASE make sure you also join the WA state group so you don't miss any announcements that are relavent to the entire state and not just the Congressional District.
Geoff, Wooo hooo Thanks for your RSVP to the meeting in Dec. We just held our first ever last night and I worked out some kinks. Those on the call wanted to have a DEC call so we planned it there and then. The Agenda/Goal for the Dec meeting is to SHARE how/what you did to promote the FairTax since the Nov. 15 call AND invite 5 other FairTax Supporters to be on the call.

Let me know if that is what you were thinking! Looking forward to seeing you in our State and your Cong. Dist groups! I figured your dist. number was a "state" number as congressionally we only have 9 districts. How long have you been a FairTax supporter?
