Steven, I hope you were able to find the answers you were looking for on the fairtax.org site. If you need any redirection or information, we can help you to find specific pages to address your issues. In almost every case, if a "non politician" has an issue with fairtax, it is because they do not have the correct information. We want you to be one of the informed. Feel free to ask questions. Some politicians do not like the loss of power fairtax takes from them. Those who want to represent their constituents generally like fairtax. Thanks for coming on board. ds

Steven,

I noticed a note you sent to my son Dan and would like to respond if I may.

There is a link to FairTax.org to the right that has a ton of research that pretty much lays out the FairTax plan. The purpose of FairTax Nation is for organizing the grassroots activists and giving the other supporters who cannot offer much more than moral support a place to gather. Almost everyone on thi site is already a supporter so we do not waste a lot of time preaching to the choir.

The reason we started this site was because all the others out there were covered over in people debating the merits of the FairTax. We needed a site that would dwell on activism. We have the link to direct people to the 30 million (plus) dollars worth of research at FairTax.org.

Dan,
I don't want to dwell in negatives, but a concern of mine when I was viewing this site was that I didn't see a clear plan on how current income generated revenue would be replaced by fair tax. I think in order for folks to come on board they will want to see a clearly laid out plan for FairTax - Show what FairTax's idea is on how to handle Social Security - how will payments be made and how do you determine payment amounts? What happen's to 401's? How are the back taxes handled? ... There are many more areas to be addressed - these things need to be highlighted clearly in the site without ambiguity.

These things should be understood prior to rallies, so folks know for-what they are rallying.

Please let me know your thoughts on this - or did I miss a link that covered this information?

Thanks,
Steven Savoye

Hello Steven,

Welcome to the site.

Please join your states group under the 'Groups' tab at the top. We are planning a huge year for the FairTax in 2009 so you came to the right place.

Please invite every FairTax supporter you know to join as well. We want to build an army of supporters as quickly as we can.

Thanks for Joining FairTax Nation!

Hi Steven

Welcome to FairTax Nation!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.

Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.

Thank you!
