FairTax to Launch National Multimedia Campaign for Passage in Congress

We have exciting news: The Americans For Fair Taxation Board has authorized the launch of a coordinated multimedia campaign for passage of the FairTax in the U. S. Congress.

In announcing the campaign launch, FairTax Chairman Leo Linbeck declared that, “Never in our lifetimes has our country more badly needed the economic boom and the immediate and robust creation of private sector jobs up and down the American economy which the FairTax would create. Never have more Americans been convinced that federal taxation is unfair, corrupt and dominated by special interest lobbyists, politicians and power brokers. Never has hunger for truly meaningful, unifying change, and the need for this change been greater than now. This is the ideal time in our history to press on every front for Congressional passage of the FairTax Bill in Congress, and the repeal of the 16th Amendment, thereby eliminating the scourge of the IRS and the income tax forever.”

President Obama said in his HC speech that if some one had a better plan he would like to see it. Fairtax is that plan. Decrease HC costs, eliminate the HC Lobbyists, Bring more people back into the insured working force by bring more manufacturing back to the US shores, eliminates Corporate tax so Business has the money to provide insurance for their employees. Fairtax does more to improve Health Care for all US citizens than any other plan out there.

AMEN!! :-)

Without doubt, the most corrupt practice in Washington, DC is some 35,000 tax lobbyists trying to "tweak" the Internal Revenue Code to support even the most narrow of constituents. And used by the government to favor one group over another.

Eliminating this would go a LONG way in cleaning up the Federal government.
