Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Free Market Misunderstood
Free Market or Crony Capitalism? Most people think of these two terms as the same thing when they are as different as night and day. For 150 years our great nation prospered under the free market system and became the largest economy in world history. Doing more good for more people and creating more wealth than mankind has ever seen. The last hundred years is where the real mess began. Under the guise of helping or saving us our glorious government has made a mess of things.
With governmental action, new laws, and regulations, we have ended up with the situation we are currently in. Under the Federal Reserve Bank and the Income Tax System, our “so-called” governmental protections have turned into a massive control mechanism over our very lives, liberty, and the future of our children. Liberty you say? You mean we are losing our freedoms? Yes. Let me ask you a simple question. "If you are forced to work to support another, isn't that slavery?" So, if the government takes 50% of your income, doesn't that make you 50% the slave? Think about it? You feel you're not being forced? Just try not paying your taxes for a couple years and see what happens!
Now please don't misunderstand me here. I am not saying that we shouldn't have in place "common sense laws and regulations" to keep businesses from polluting and robbing their customers. I stress on the term “common sense". The problem lies within the abuse of power given to our politicians to over-regulate and over-tax each and everyone of us and how it forces our free market to become corrupt in order to survive. This is the very heart of crony capitalism and it will soon be the demise of the land we love if we sit back and do nothing.
We need tax reform. Many are calling for a simple flat tax. It sounds good but what does this mean? People feel that one flat rate will save us all. The problem is that politicians write the “Income Tax Code” with their own agenda in mind and not ours. Taxation and politics must be dealt with separately. This is the only way to stop Crony Capitalism and allow the Free Market to prosper.
Would you prefer a simple flat “income” tax that only working, investing, and retired citizens pay to support the rest of the nation who pay nothing? Or would you prefer a simple flat “sales” tax on only new products and services that every single person in the country will pay equally without loopholes, deductions, and exemptions, including drug dealers, hookers, foreign visitors, and illegal aliens? No more deals for anyone, just the same deal for everyone. Equal and Fair!
There was legislation re-introduced into the 113th Congress just weeks ago with 66 Co-Sponsors. It was developed and researched by Volunteer “Non-Parisian” Americans who hired the Beacon Hill Institute with its Economic Scientists from M I T and Harvard to come up with a tax system that works equally for all Americans. It took 2 1/2 years and 22 million dollars of research to develop and is the most highly researched piece of legislation in American history. It's called HR-25 / S-122 The “FairTax”. This legislation will lift the entire nation up by un-taxing every American for the basic necessities of life up to the poverty level set by the Department of Health and Human Services. Also, it will eliminate all forms of income taxation, including corporate, business, gift, estate, matching payroll, capital gains, export, and alleviate the need for citizens to ever file an IRS form ever again. Americans will keep what they earn and will only be taxed when they buy new products or services. It’s Simple, Fair, Flat, and great for our economy.
Thank you,

Thanks. Our local paper has been very good about NOT editing, but I cannot promise anything. And while liberal like most rags, they have been very fair to the FairTax.
