The Trumpet is published near the end of each month. Its function is to
announce opportunities in the upcoming month for you to participate in
our grass roots movement.
SPECIAL EVENT. Set your DVR, notify your friends! Americans For
Fair Taxation will present its first ever nationwide television program
at 1:30 PM on the Fourth
of July. The full length 30 minute show will air
on the Fox Business Channel across the nation. Those featured include
Neal Boortz, Newt Gingrich, Michael Reagan, Mike Huckabee and Ken
Hoagland, Chairman of the FairTax National Victory Campaign. The program
will include discussions with economists and with many average
Americans who have come to know and appreciate the FairTax and what it
will do for our nation. It will include an important call to action, the
signing of an Official Certified Petition to the U. S. Congress in
support of the FairTax.
Want to help spread the TV message further? Anonymous donors have agreed to match
contributions to the FairTax Television Matching Fund dollar for dollar.

Our Longwood group offers in-home conversations about the FairTax. Invite friends and relatives to hear a
presentation followed by Q&A (cookies optional). To arrange for a
presentation, contact Patsy Roberts at robertspatsy1@juno.com,
or call her at 407-328-1560. No spur of the moment requests, please;
allow us four days or more advance notice. Thanks.
2. Join the Florida Fair Tax Educational Assn. (FFTEA)
Our statewide educational organization is a non-partisan, tax-exempt 501(c)(3). Membership in and
contributions to FFTEA are tax deductible. The purpose of FFTEA is to
raise money to support local groups’ efforts on behalf of the FairTax.
Through group purchasing power, FFTEA can acquire and distribute
t-shirts, hats, bumper stickers and other materials for use at events
throughout Florida. FFTEA has no paid staff, relying instead on
volunteers. That means every cent you contribute is used to support the
FairTax.
Although some events don't have an entry cost, many do and FFTEA has paid between $50 and $199 for us to have booth space at
local events. These funds are the result of statewide membership dues
and contributions. Also, just over the past year they have provided
120,000 pocket information cards to us at no cost. Lastly, FFTEA wants
to be able to buy advertising this election year to promote the FairTax
and build defense against the lies and half truths from opponents of the
FairTax. This cannot be done without the financial support of all of
us.

3. Participate in our nationwide Webinars on the fourth Thursday each month.

comfort of their own homes. Help them learn about the FairTax from the
experts. This month’s special topic: “The impact the FairTax
will have on the housing industry.” You will need to reserve

4. Join a FairTax support group near you, or create your own (we’ll help). FairTax groups are meeting throughout
the Greater Orlando area. They plan local activities and help each
other gain further knowledge about benefits of the FairTax. To help make
the FairTax become law, join the meeting nearest you. Wish there was
one closer to where you live? Why not become a coordinator for
volunteers in your area?
