Help Grow FairTax Twitter Networks

For those who tweet, there is a group on FTN that has info on others who tweet about the FairTax: http://www.fairtaxnation.com/group/twitter.

However, I have found a few Twitter profiles that are dedicated to the FairTax and update pretty regularly.

Please follow these users and retweet their tweets. Re-tweeting with #fairtax hash tags also helps to build to network.

If you tweet under the above accounts (or any others with FairTax in the profile name)...PLEASE DO NOT CROSS-TWEET PARTISAN RHETORIC NOT RELATED TO THE FAIRTAX. Create a personal Twitter account or another political persona account. If we want to broaden the base, we need to STAY ON MESSAGE. You can always re-tweet (RT) FairTax tweet from your other account. Try to link to articles that are not inflammatory and that are more fact-based, than opinion-based. FairTax.org has plenty of good linking opportunities.


Another bi-partisan tip: When given the choice between an Associated Press story on the FoxNews site, MSNBC site, or Google/Yahoo News site, choose the neutral one. Some people are turned off by FoxNews. Having attended tea parties, I am not too fond of MSNBC's coverage (so I don't send business their way). Most people don't get worked up over Yahoo News or Google.

Hash tags are like search topics. Simply add a pound sign to any word to make it a hash tag. #TLOT = Top Libertarians on Twitter; #TCOT = Top Conservatives on Twitter. Other tags I have seen used are #taxes, #stimulus, #reform, #gop, #liberal, #dem, #dnc.
