House Ways and Means Committee

I am District Director for NJ-8. I am trying to start a weekly letter campaign to the House Ways and Means Committee. I believe any real effort for Federal tax reform will have to start with this Committee.

My goal is to have a campaign that runs up to April 15th.

I have compiled an Excel spreadsheet that has the contact information for each member that can be used as a Word mail merge. This file can be found in the Forum for "House Ways and Means Commitee:. I have also attached my first letter in the Forum.

I faxed the letter to each Representative's DC and home office and I followed up by mailing the same to each office.

Next Monday I hope to send a letter that talks about the FairTax as the best economic stimulus idea. In the future I will try to follow up with a short letter that edits the ideas from each chapter in the book.

I am trying to get everybody to also send letters to the Committee members.
