Thanks for the support in Lometa

We manned a Fair Tax booth in Lomta, TX this past weekend at the annual Diamondback Jubilee. Over the day we had 7 volunteers come out to help raise awareness for the Fair Tax. While the turnout for the event was very low and very few people came by the booth, we enjoyed an opportunity to meet and visit with like minded and active Fair Taxers.

A cold and sand filled wind howled all day, most of the vendors didn't show up, and very few people attended the Lions Club event. Needless to say, we had an ample amount of downtime where we were able to discuss The Fair Tax amongst ourselves. I was impressed by the level of knowledge our local volunteers have. But even more impressive is the passion these people have for getting the Fair Tax passed.

I find many people who comment that the Fair Tax is a great idea, but it will never pass. I say that with volunteers and supporters like I met this weekend on our side, it can't help but pass.
