Two FairTax Letters Published!
Well, I was very excited two weeks ago, when I got my first FairTax letter to the editor published in my local county paper (Walker County Messenger) here in northwest Georgia, but...
I was doubly excited when I got my second FairTax letter to the editor published just five days later in the Chattanooga Times-Free Press, a paper with a much larger circulation!
I have finished reading The FairTax Book and am almost finished reading FairTax: The Truth, and I am determined to become as active as I can for the FairTax.
In fact, I just learned last night that we now have a Senate Resolution here in Georgia, SR 503, to urge the federal Government to press forward to implement the Fairtax, for Georgia to follow suit, as well as encourage other state governments to do the same.
The great thing about the Georgia resolution is that I am friends with my local Senator and I asked him to support it in my last email communication with him just today!

Hey Daniel! You're doing the right thing by getting active.
The biggest thing is to surround yourself with like-minded people who do not quit and spur you to press on.
It is sad, but so many would be conservative activists put down the mantle at the first sign of resistance. For example...
I was privileged tonight to get a phone call through to the Mark Levin Show. I mentioned that the FairTax would be a great alternative solution to the Obama "porkulus" bill as a stimulant to our economy. While the guest host on the show agreed and said that he has been a long time advocate of the FairTax, he reasoned that it would never happen no matter how much we want it to.
Guess what, this just confirmed the concept that for folks like you and I, not to mention other great people on sites like this one, must press on..."If it is to be, it is up to me!"
