Ok, I'm lost. (not for the first time in my life!) Fill me in on the GA boys. Haven't had much internet time lately.

You are certainly very welcome Michele - I am not nearly so kind as I am passionate about the FairTax, and I can tell from your comments that you are just as passionate. You are now challenged with the task of finding out if the book is available at your library. If not, let me know.

I enjoy reading your comments and contributions here on FTN

Are you going to try and go to the Midwest Rally in June? It's in Missourri. Barb here in Ohio is trying to get enough for a charter bus. I'm as poor as Job's turkey but I've committed to going on that bus if we get enough folks. I guess AZ has a bunch of charter busses going! This is the big one of the year for Fair Tax. I would love to meet you. You crack me up! Course you'd have to have a big sign with you're name on it, lol.

If the charter bus plan doesn't work out, I'm going to work on a plan B and hope and pray. The Fair Tax is just too important for me to ignore.

Marc may have. I did not but it may have been because I was watching who was signing on and off and not paying attention to the text box. Thanks for bringing that up. I need the KITP to remind me to pay attention there too.
Glad you liked the Webinar. We are ramping up to present really good stuff about the FairTax in addition to the overview.
Don't forget, if there is a subtle facet of the FairTax that you think needs some exposure or expanation to send your idea along to us.

Hey Michele,
Glad you will be joining us on the Webinar. Each month Marc will be presenting a specific topic, an overview of the FairTax for the benefit of newer *& Potential supporters and a Q&A. Participants will be able to ask questions over their computer if they have the needed microphone or by telephone. Marc and I will answer the questions, kind of a 'stump the teacher' task.

ok, teleconference call with Rep. Jim Jordan is finished. I didn't get a question in this time, but you know the topic I would have brought up. My congressman is so good in every single way with one exception: he's not yet supporting the Fair Tax!! It's driving me crazy. One way or another, we will bring him on board.

And not one person brought the Fair Tax up tonite. Grrr. All the issues of the day and that the media feeds us were the topics of conversation tonite. Understandable, however, realistically we must look at the actual fires that can be put out. The tax code is an inferno and yet it's the one we absolutely can and will put out.

You lucky soul! You live in GA! The Fair Tax is alive and thriving down there! Sure wish you were here in Ohio, we'd make good use of ya!

Michele I sense some frustration in some of your comments and post. You can add me as a friend and ask me personally specific questions if you want or give me a call at home after 8:15 in the evenings (everyday except Wednesday normally) at 937-403-3048. I don't have all the answers but have a pretty good sense of where to go for them. We don't want you to get discouraged due to frustration with the systems or lack there of.

yeah, i have those type things. Like the minute i signed out the other day i saw you were from IL. Then i felt really retarded because i thought you and the other folks were in GA with me.
I lack computer skills. I do want to nag folks from GA & other states. Tried to get in touch with several reps who do not support FairTax, but they were out of my purview and their websites wouldn't allow it. My own GA reps are gung ho on Fairtax so i'm preaching to the choir with them.
I guess what i need is voter registration records, emails of reps that do not support FairTax, other FairTax members emails... I don't know about the voter regist, but it sure seems like we need to be convincing DemSocialist more so than Republocrats.
I don't know what plan B is, but it's my fortune to be up to a plan F or G before i see any luck. In the meantime, i'm practicing computer skills and trying to get to where i was the other day when i found a site that had members from all over. ha, ha. So i got that goin' for me. Probably for the next hour! thanks. adios!

Take a look and see if this is what you need, if not let me know and we will go on to plan "B".

Thanks,
Marilyn

Hi Michael

Welcome to FairTax Nation! I am glad you found us!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.

Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.

Thank you!
Marilyn Rickert
