Steve. I certainly hope that any thought of the VAT will bring the FairTax to the forefront. It's incumbent upon all of us "FairTax Supporters" to send our request to Chairman Levin (of the House Ways and Means committee) to hold hearings on the FairTax and here is the way to do it: https://secure2.convio.net/afft/site/Advocacy?cmd=display&page=UserAction&id=128
