Obama and IG Gate:

It is 1972 all over again, only this time it isn’t Nixon coordinating the cover up, it is President B. Hussein Obama and possibly Michelle too (echoes of Hillary Clinton and Travelgate). There is a stifling of transparency by the White House, with no pretense whatsoever, Obama simply lies one more time. And, too ensure that no one dares question what he does, any Inspector General (IG) who challenges he or Biden (Joe and his incestuous relationship with Amtrak are in on this too) is either forced to resign, fired, or has their contract non-renewed. Kind of makes me long for G. Gordon Liddy and the plumbers.

IG Fred Weiderhold, Jr, working with Joe ‘gaffetastic’ Biden’s pet project, Amtrak, had a controversial mess dumped in his lap three months ago. Mr. Weiderhold Jr. is the only IG Amtrak has ever had. He has an exemplary record. The mess left for him to clean up has to do with a letter one side says is a fraud and the other says is true. If true, there were major shortcuts and possible illegal exchanges of money. Amtrak, fraud and forgery have Vice President Biden’s thuggery all over it. And, given the fact he was the late in the game to get whacked, it appears that Biden saw the opportunity to slide one more body into the grave, alongside the one’s Obama created.

In March, the same month the Amtrak issue came up, so did an episode with wonder boy Tim Geithner and the obstruction of the Special Inspector General in charge of following the TARP money (that Biden was tasked with following by B. Hussein Obama, because ‘no one messes with Joe’). Neil Barofsky, the IG in question said he was investigating the AIG bailouts with TARP money. Geithner went to the Justice Department to find out if he had to cooperate. No wonder Obama doesn’t want transparency any longer, tax cheat Geithner is dirty now too:

Last spring, the AIG bonus mess enraged taxpayers and lawmakers alike. In announcing his audit on March 19 before a House committee, Barofsky said the probe would examine who in the federal government “knew what, how, when, and why” about the insurance giant’s bonus program.

Geithner, facing questions about his knowledge of AIG’s executive compensation structure, explained to CNN in a March 19 interview that he had only found about the “full scale” of the bonuses on March 10, just days before they were paid out.

So, just to re-cap, the IG at Amtrak (which received TARP funds and is a VP pet project) is gone. The IG at Treasury is gone, after Treasury sought to legally keep information from him. It is Watergate all over again.

ID Judith Gwynne of the International Trade Commission (ITC) had her contract non-renewed. Why? Because she dared stand up with a complaint about an ITC employee forcibly taken documents from her that she needed for her investigation. Less than three hours after she voiced her concern via email, she was told her contract would not be renewed. A pattern is developing that starts with Obama and Biden and has spread like a cancer throughout governmental agencies. It has had a chilling effect upon all Inspector Generals. Word is out that if you mess with the administration, you will be forced to resign or be fired. Yes fired.

Americorps Inspector General Gerald Walpin was fired because he refused to retire. B. Hussein Obama, who sponsored the legislation that says Inspector Generals cannot be fired without the President giving Congress 30 days notice and valid reasons for the termination have Walpin an hour to decide if he would resign or be fired. Forty five minutes later, the White House called back and fired IG Walpin. Why such drastic action against a crusader that had taken on GOP and Democrats who wasted millions of taxpayer dollars? Because, he had never taken on a friend of Barack and Michelle.

It seems that former NBA star Kevin Johnson misused and misspent large sums of taxpayer money at his Sacramento charity the St. Hope Academy. Of course, this was before KJ was elected Mayor of Sacramento. Johnson was a frequent speaker stumping for Obama on the campaign trail and in several television interviews professed a deep friendship with Michelle Obama. Per the Washington Times:

The inspector general detailed numerous irregularities in St. Hope's use of AmeriCorps funds, including AmeriCorps grantees being used to wash Mr. Johnson's car. Mr. Walpin complained vociferously, though, that acting U.S. Attorney Lawrence G. Brown had negotiated far too lenient a settlement of the charges against Mayor Johnson and St. Hope.

In turn, the U.S. attorney filed a complaint against Mr. Walpin, charging him with unethical behavior throughout the investigation. The White House fired Mr. Walpin long before the relevant committee would have finished its assessment of the U.S. attorney's complaint.

The Washington Times also reports:

Now here is where the story gets really interesting. On the very same day that the president fired Mr. Walpin, St. Hope's executive director, Rick Maya, left his job at St. Hope. He did not go quietly. His resignation letter charged Mr. Johnson and several St. Hope board members with numerous ethical violations. Most explosively, he charged that a board member improperly deleted e-mails of Mr. Johnson's that already were under a federal subpoena.

The FBI is currently investigating this mess, but how far will it go with Biden and Barack willing to fire or exile anyone who dare to challenge them, Americorp, the Treasury or any illicit spending of taxpayer money. This sort of behavior from the President of the United States of America has to have a chilling effect on the FBI and its agents. It is time that Obama be impeached for high crimes (fraud, misuse of funds, impeding and investigation) and misdemeanors.
