What republicans support FT??
Look on fairtax.org on the left side just below the top "Congressional Scorecard" it list every one of our congresman and senators and where they stand.
starting a 3rd party that will pull in enough votes to overwhelm the other 2 could take 50 years. I think if we get the word out about the fair tax and get these progressive republicans replaced with people like us, we'll get the party back and it'll grow, especially after this $10,000,000,000,000 spending spree is seen for what it is.
I'm with you brother!!!
Mr. Tomasik, Do you have a specific party? Talked to Ga Libertarian in my area 3 days ago, they were still divided over FairTax. The R.'s came out this a.m. supposedly saying the "big plan" was to call D.'s "socialists." Do you have something we can research?
It is still in the works. It looks like some folks around here are clamouring for it.

And you can call me Jim!

Throw a rock in a crowd of Republicans and you're more than likely to hit a socialist.

LOL!!!!

I suspect it will take convincing conservative politicians to leave the Republican party. I've also been thinking IMHO as more states form legislation to reassert their 9th and 10th amendment rights they will also be more inclined to pass Fair Tax legislation on the state level. Enough doing so could be the impetus for states requiring Congress to call for a Constitutional Convention to abolish the federal income tax and by association the IRS paving the way to pass The Fair Tax Act.
Well, I'm glad I made you laugh! ;o)
What is IMHO? I'm a bit daft.
IMHO---In My Honest Opinion---at least that's what I've always thought.
Michele,

Call me 'Jim', all my freinds do! ;o)

I am going to an orginizational meeting this weekend. I hope to find out more then.

TN requires a new party to gather 45,000 sigs to be recognized as something more than another independant party. That would be less than five hundred per county.

The name of the Party is the Tea Party (T). You will not find any info on the internet yet as it is being held close to the vest.

As you know, we do not promote political parties on this site but we can talk about them.
I know. I'm fed up w/ the lot. I liked Palin, based on sense and accomplishments, but I don't think she picked up on FairTax. She seems like the type to study it and think it would be good.

I was getting stuff from that Huckabee group and he's an ardent supporter. But I don't know what happened, they quit sending me updates. Perhaps 'cause the last 9 out of 10 times they emailed they were mostly begging for $ and I didn't send any.

I was playing be nice to Republocrats day Sunday and gave them an earful. Today they send an email wanting more info. I don't want to be bothered. Do you know anybody interested?

Sent list of same to Libertarian pal.
