Stimulus Bill Introduces More Complexity into Tax Code

I have a confession to make. Although my primary business is running a software company, I also co-own a real estate company (with my POSSLQ) that develops affordable housing. Without getting into too many details, we sell tax credits. So, in a sense, I make money due to the current tax system. Nevertheless, anyone who has seen my posts knows I am an ardent FairTax supporter.

I just received the attached Word document from a housing trade asssociation outlining their "win" in getting funding included in the so-called "stimulus" bill. This is just one tiny part. The complexity boggles my mind and I'm in the business.

The more of this Congress does, the more likely it is for the current tax system to sink under its own weight.
