Fair Tax Nation

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

The organizers of the Tea Parties are starting a new movement called Contract From America. This is their answer to the claim that they are organizing around the problem, instead of a solution. They are going to release this document that contains their top legislative proposals and ideas. We MUST get the FairTax into this document. Please sign up (free) at http://www.contractfromamerica.com and vote for the Fairtax! To vote, click on the Tax category, and then the vote button next to the FairTax. Clicking on the stars will rate it, voting is a separate thing.

I voiced my support for the FairTax and I also voted to do away with the 16th Amendment.
Well, I tried but couldn't get it to work for me. I'll keep trying.
> Earlier today I voted for FairTax and to repeal the 16th, also to get rid of the departments of energy and education. The navigation on the site doesn't work easily though.
It looks as if we have FairTax Nation member running for congress as an Independent in Maryland.

He is setting up a web site currently.
Ok, I think I was able to vote for the FairTax and the repeal of the 16th amendment. Kind of hard to tell for sure.
Only 29 votes behind the leader.....nice!!

I'm happy with that as my other idea would be term limits ;)

FYI I've been posting less as my internet explorer at work crashes when I open the page....and msot of my posting was done on my lunch break...sorry guys!!
So, how do we get you fixed up so you can spend a little time posting from home? (Of course, that would depend on if you can spare the time away from the family).
The FairTax has moved into first place. Keep voting if you haven't.
Conservatives need to get their message out better, where ever, whenever.
Hey Joshua when was the last time you went to the site? I signed the pledge but cannot for the life of me figure out how to vote for the FairTax! Noted my GOP Incumbent hasn't signed the pledge though. No surprise...
Back in Dec/009, the group was looking for items to include in the "contract". Fair Tax led the list with more than 2 to 1 ratio of over any other item! But the group was cohered by Freedom Works and others to use "tax reform" as a general topic in the Contract. All this was done before all the 4/15/10 rallies in DC.
It's amazing how these groups get established and grow. They are simply lumping together all of the concerns of our citizens and capitalizing on the disgust with Washington. Not much will be accomplished due to their efforts, and the Republican establishment wants it to stay that way. If we could get the numbers that they draw we could put real pressure on Congress toward enacting the FairTax, which is the only proposal that would start to fix all of the problems that they identify.
