Our next FairTax meeting will be on Nov. 16th (Wednesday), at Roush's Restaurant in Fairborn. The meeting will start at 6:30 pm and end at 8:00 pm., and is located at 305 W. Main St. Our guest speaker this month will be a representative from Sen. Portman's office. I hope that many of you can make this meeting and help show the Senator that we are indeed serious about the FairTax and other issues that are effecting us.

Had a good meeting wednesday night that saw Steve Curtis (our state director) pay us a visit. And we also had congressional candidate John Anderson in attendance. No guest speaker this month. We discussed the growth of the FairTax, where we wanted to go with the state organization, and how we can do it.

Also, The Fairborn Daily Herald continues to publish the FairTax column on a weekly basis. We need more folks to send in letters to the Editor supporting the FairTax. They will publish them folks.

Next meeting, Nov. 16th and it will be the last one this year as Christmas time is a time for family.

The very first question out of the box during the debate tonight was on tax reform. AWESOME!! But I wish the FairTax could have grabbed more of the lime light. I'd like to have seen Romney put on the spot more over the tax reform issue since he obviously didn't have a clue before.

Steve Curtis latest FairTax column is well worth reading folks. He makes a very pointed case for getting the FairTax implemented. If you haven't read it yet, please go buy your copy (or read online) of the Fairborn Daily Herald. And we need to share these with anyone we know. We are making great strides this year. Lets keep up the good efforts and not let them go to waste.

Great meeting last night. We had over thirty people come out and listen to Herman Cain's Ohio campaign director. Lots of good discussion and we are looking forward to an expected visit by Mr. Cain himself in October in this area. We will of course keep you all posted.

Secondly, We had our weekly column in the Fairborn Daily Herald. The topic this week was the FairTax and its effect on health care. As I stated at the meeting, I'd really appreciate people calling the paper or writing letters to the editor so that they see this issue draws people to the paper.

Its been a really busy week. ooking forward to a break next week. Have a great weekend.

Great guest column in todays Fairborn Daily Herald. Steve Curtis continues to hit home runs with these columns. Todays column; "FairTax: Security, not fear, for seniors". A must read and must share for all FairTaxers.

Hello Folks, Our next meeting is coming up fast. Its on Sept. 21st and its going to be at the usual place and at the usual time. Roush's Family Restaurant (305 W. Main St.) in beautiful downtown Fairborn. 6:30 to 8:00 in the evening. Come a little early if you want to visit and eat.

Our guest speaker this month is Amy Emery-Sutherly. She is the State Director for Herman Cain's campaign here in Ohio. We should have plenty of FairTax questions for her, but she will also welcome any other questions you may have.

I like the name, FairTax Flash!!  We should "brand" it and use it to get folks "jazzed up".

We went to the Beavercreek Liberty Group meeting this evening. A very good meeting lead by Nancy Casebere. She had a power point with all that they have accomplished and what they plan to accomplish.  One page was for FairTax. They have a booth at the Beavercreek Popcorn Festival and I ask if FairTax could wear our gear and pass out our material in their booth. She will check with the committee. She said we can not walk around and pass out material.  I also told them that FairTax Flash would be in Fairborn at the circle next Wednesday (July 20th) from 5 - 6 p.m. and invited them to join us.
