Thanks Steve, now I have another post for this weekend. The Pork Festival. Preble county Fair grounds. Sat. and Sun. Start serving breakfast at 6:30 a.m.each day.Lunch time smorgas board.Lots of pork chops.Parade starts at 12:30 Sat. Do you think we could get some folks to wear FairTax gear and just circulate?

No problem with publicizing the GOP event, particularly since we want folks to go and show the GOP how enthusiastic FairTaxers are. We just need to differentiate which "hat" we are wearing, particularly when we post things that could, at some future time, be used to malign the purity of our purpose.

I agree with Steve as well. And I would love the opportunity to share the FairTax with our democrat counterparts. But how do we get our foot in the door? Its got to start with their own standing up and making them listen (with an open mind).

Steve is right, although I think we are there to support the GOP officially, and us Fair Taxers are non-partisan, that does not mean we cannot show any idea that we do support, and be vocal in asking for them to support the FT. There might be a fine line there, but in my opinion, we are not crossing that line in any way.

I think the meeting at which Husted will be speaking is actually a GOP meeting. The GOP meets the 3rd Monday of the month at Beef O'Brady's. We need to make sure we are clear to folks that the FairTax is non-partisan, and not specifically aligned with either party.

Steve Curtis is scheduled to be on 550 WKRC Cincinnati at 7:40am on Thurs, 26 Feb, to discuss the FairTax. Feedback welcomed and call-ins might be a good idea.

Why don't we talk about this tomorrow. I think it might be a good idea, and team building exercise, to get more people involved.
