TAKE BACK OUR GOVERNMENT!

The Orlando Tea Party will be a peaceful, patriotic and informative gathering of like minded individuals meant to inspire, unite and energize Americans to stand up for their liberties, our Constitution, and the principles of our Founding Fathers which have served to make America the greatest country in the world!

We are working hard to make this an entertaining event, but more importantly, we hope to make it a call to action. If we are to stop the socialization of our country, each and every one of us must take part! We are excited to have Orlando’s own Bud Hedinger of 540 WLFA on board to emcee the event. We will also offer a salute to our servicemen and women, our National Anthem will performed by the McPhersons Trio, patriotic music by Lloyd Marcus and several exciting speakers will enlighten us about what we can do today to reclaim our country. Because this event is truly about you, The People, Bud will be offering a Freedom Forum, in which he will allow members of the audience to speak about why they are participating and how they view the state of our great nation. Many people have asked whether we will be inviting politicians to our event. The answer is "yes!" We will be inviting many politician to attend- but only to listen. It is our opinion that these people have unlimited outlets to voice their opinions and values. March 21st is a day for those officials to come and listen to us and hear our values and our demands!

Once the music is over and the lights go down we do not want the passion and energy to fade, so we are enlisting all of our fellow patriots to take the next step on March 22 and every day after. The Orlando Tea Party will serve as a recruiting point for several mainstream conservative organizations. We will provide booths throughout the Lake Eola Amphitheather area where these organizations can offer information about their agendas and we strongly urge our supporters to find a cause that they feel passionately about and join their efforts. We cannot afford to be silent any longer! Until now, we have been content to mumble our disgust over the dinner table, but change will not take place until we unite as one voice and make ourselves heard! We will post links to the organizations that will be attending as information becomes available.

Please note, we will NOT tolerate anything, including tea, to be thrown into the lake! Several days prior to the event, we will post symbolic tea bag templates, on our web site that participants can print and mail to our civil servants. On it we can voice our grievances with the our elected officials and remind them that these are our rights, this is our government and this is what we demand!

So, please mark your calendars, gather family, friends, neighbors and strangers on the street. Help us make The Orlando Tea Party an act of solidarity for Conservative Values and let us show this country that we will no longer be the silent majority. Let us echo all the way to Washington and TAKE OUR COUNTRY BACK!
