We have begun The Paul Reve Project with is a Fair Tax media campaign. We have a chance to make a TV ad with the help of Paul Wizkowski who made the Fair Tax lunch videos.  We will need to raise $5,000. What do you think?

we are now working on plans for a fund raising spectacular!

Monies raised will be used to purchase booth space at area events, and for other opportunities to educate people in our local communities about the FairTax. The tentative date is a Sunday afternoon in June.

Will you help? We need people to staff several committees and to flood us with creative ideas! For many great reasons, 2011 is the year for FairTaxers to make their biggest impact ever.

Won't you join us in planning this event? Our next organizing meeting will be Tuesday, Feb 8th, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm at the Seminole County Sheriff's community center located at 120 W. Pineview, Altamonte Springs, (SW corner of Douglas and W. Pineview).

I want to thank ChiefCook for coming to Ohio and being the guest speaker at the Fairborn meeting last Wednesday evening. He gave us a lot of good information. We had a nice crowd, I just wish more could have heard him. He is the GREATEST.

For many of us that don't have money to spare but would like to something to help advance the fairtax, and get it being passed, I suggest that we use our creative abilities and identify areas on the net to promote, educate and provide rebuttals when appropriate.

You may search out articles that allow comments.
articles on: economy, jobs, taxes, ect

With a lot of grass roots work, maybe with in the next few years we can get the fairtax out of the house ways and means committee, to the house floor, passed and signed into law.

I found youtube videos advertising liberty tax, H&R Block, and Turbo Tax services were severely lacking in comments suggesting an alternative "The FairTax" and its benefits.

The meeting location for the Longwood/Lake Mary area has changed starting in May, 2010. See the posted information above for the details.

Join Central Florida Community Coordinator Marc Manieri and myself for our monthly Understanding The FairTax Webinar from your home with your computer on Thursday, June 25th from 8pm – 8:45pm EDST. You must register to participate.

Click on the following link to register: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/261067210. After registering you will receive a confirmation email and instructions for signing on. If you use a SPAM blocker, please check it for the confirmation from "gotomeeting.com".

The FairTax is a forward thinking solution to our current tax code abomination - a tax code so complex it now tops 67,000 pages - and worse, stifles economic growth and punishes people and businesses for saving and investing.

This month's webinar will highlight what the VAT (Value Added Tax) is - which is currently being proposed as an additional tax on top of our income tax as a federal government revenue solution - why it's not a good solution for America and why the FairTax is a better solution.

We'll do an overview of the FairTax plan also and have a Q & A session to wrap up the call.

The webinar is an excellent means to introduce people who cannot get to a FairTax meeting or with a volunteer for an accurate explanation of the FairTax. These people are an untapped source of supporters that we need to get on board the FairTax mission.

Remember to click on this link to register for the webinar: https://www2.gotomeeting.com/register/261067210 and then to join us Thursday evening, 8 PM EDST, 5 PM West coast time.

On July 4th the FairTax group of Greater Orlando is participating in a TEA Party at the Amway Arena, Orlando at 10:am. We expect to have two and possibly three FairTax tables and will need help.
We will be setting up at 8:30 AM and the event runs from 10am-2pm.
We were inundated at the last two TEA parties and could use at least 5 supporters per table as well as help with the set up.

I hope Sen. Kerry has all the fun in the world with the IRS. Did you actually read that article?!?! "It must be a clerical error with the IRS...." I almost fell out of my chair laughing. Sure, it's a clerical error...just like everyone else in Congress that seems to have problems filing their taxes. Unbelievable.
