I'm sure the rest of you were like me and were dreading the April 15th deadline for our federal taxes. The only people that weren't in a bad mood that day were probably the bean counters looking for all that money coming in. And...as good citizens I'm sure a vast majority just went along with the system and made sure all of our paperwork was in line and filed properly. I've been trying to do my part to express my point-of-view to our "lovely and fair elected officals," but it just doesn't seem to get across. Something that is very puzzling to me...we all know that the Fair Tax will be extremely beneficial to our destroyed economy. So why is it so hard for the lawmakers in Washington to see that?!? I just don't get it. Is it because all the little earmarks, favors, and kickbacks will be lost? I don't know...maybe. It's just fustrating. Why have a tax code that's over 60,000 pages long if you put it in normal book form? That's just crazy!!
