After several exchanges with Steve Austria, it is finally obvious to me that
there is no way he is going to support (co-sponsor) the FairTax.

Instead, he has hitched his support to a bill (H.R. 982 the Tax Code Termination
Act) that does literally nothing to address the needs of the people.

We will still be taxed for our labor, we still have the death tax, FICA, social
security etc....

In other words, he and his fellow legislators in Washington still controls us by
telling us how much of our pay we get to keep. And how much we must pay to stay
out of the govt. dog house. And the good ole IRS will still be there.

Please take the time to read this bill and then if you agree, write the
congressman and let him know your thoughts.

Then lets work to get someone in that office that truly represents the people.

Our meeting at Roush's Wednesday night went quite well. State Rep. Jarrod Martin paid us a visit and shared much with us. We were also able to share alot of information with a couple of visiting councilmembers from Fairborn. We are looking forward to next months meeting. Lets all keep up the good work and the FairTax will happen!!!

Sure is fun and informative to have Jarrod Martin at our meetings. Love to get the inside scoop on Columbus, the State House. Too bad that all of Jarrod's good bills don't even get heard.

Had a great meeting in Fairborn last night. Sen. candidate Eric Deaton (Ind.) gave our group of 30 plus a view of what his campaighn was all about and we were able to spend sometime on the FairTax as well. We had a Fairborn City Councilman present (Mr. Cervone) and State Rep. Seth Morgan. We also had folks from the Beavercreek Liberty group present. My thanks to all who came out and made this meeting as successful as it was. The FairTax is making great strides. Help us make it even better by becoming actively involved.

Again, My thanks for attending our meeting and for bringing your friend. I hope you were impressed enought to come to a future meeting. There is much to be done and we need help in spreading the word about the FairTax. Have a great weekend.

Well folks, I am hoping for a good turnout tomorrow night. If we are successful, we can get other candidates to take our area more seriously. Please attend if you can and pass the word along. As a reminder, the meeting starts at 6:30 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. and is at Roush's Restaurant located at 305 W. Main St. in Fairborn. Bring a friend!!!

We had a terrific meeting tonight. We had new visitors, leaders from the Beavercreek Liberty group, Our state director was there, great talk, and passed out material. We also announced that ( I ) senate candidate Eric Deaton will be at our next Fairborn FairTax meeting. He will be giving a talk about himself and what he stands for after which we will have a Q & A session. So please bring a pad and pen to write down questions you may have. And I'd like to thank the folks at Roush's for allowing us to use their restaurant to hold these meetings. They have been FANTASTIC!!!!!

Lastly, and to all, Have a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year!!!
