Are there Florida Fair Taxers planning to come to DC for the Storm the Hill event?   I am currently living in the area and would like to participate in engaging our Representatives and Senators.

REMEMBER TO REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT AND WRITE IN BELINDA NOAH FOR U. S. SENATE. DR. NOAH IS FLORIDA'S FAIRTAX CANDIDAETE FOR THE U. S. SENATE!

IN THE WAKE OF FORECLOSURE-GATE, RECORD NUMBER OF BANKRUPTCIES AND HIGH UNEMPLOYMENT, OVER 90 PERCENT OF FLORIDIANS STATE THAT THEY WANT TO THROW OUT THE INCUMBENTS AND CAREER POLITICIANS BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOT REPRESENTED THE BEST INTEREST OF THE PEOPLE. YOU CAN THROW THEM OUT BY VOTING FOR DR. BELINDA NOAH FOR U. S. SENATE!

I RAN FOR THE U. S. SENATE IN 2006 AND CAME IN THIRD OUT OF EIGHT CANDIDATES, EVEN THOUGH THE SPONSORS OF THE U. S. SENATE DEBATES PRETENDED THAT THERE WERE ONLY TWO CANDIDATES RUNNING, AND ONLY TWO CANDIDATES WERE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DEBATES. THIS WAS DONE EVEN THOUGH ALL OF THE CANDIDATES PAID THE OVER $6,000 QUALIFYING FEE! THUS, MY SUPPORTERS URGED ME TO RUN AGAIN AS A WRITE-IN CANDIDATE.

SO PLEASE REQUEST AN ABSENTEE BALLOT FROM YOUR COUNTY SUPERVISOR OF ELECTIONS OFFICE FOR THE NOVEMBER 2, 2010, ELECTION, AND WRITE IN BELINDA NOAH FOR U. S. SENATE. YOU MAY ALSO VOTE AT YOUR POLLING PLACE DURING EARLY VOTING OR ON NOVEMBER 2, 2010. WRITE IN CANDIDATES HAVE WON NUMEROUS RACES AND I WILL WIN THIS RACE IF YOU VOTE FOR ME.

THANK YOU AND GOD BLESS.

DR. BELINDA NOAH, ATTORNEY/CANDIDATE FOR U. S. SENATE

yep. I've resigned myself to several election cycles (at least) in the wilderness because this issue isn't as important to people as it should be but persistence pays.

I caution you to not be disallusioned by those candidates who 'say' they support the FairTax. Saying it and doing it are two different issues.
Those who do support the FairTax will say so on their web sites and in their campaign literature. If the candidate you are looking at does not write it, they are not supporters.
Advocates of the FairTax will not only have it written but will preach the FairTax wherever they go.

Todd long is CD-08 is such a candidate. Others will say they support the FairTax if asked about it. Take that with a big grain of salt.

Thanks for the info, I think I've pretty much got my districts nailed down but really look forward to seeing a statewide list.

And flip-flopping...too true. Like Boortz said, "a politicians first job is to get (re)elected"

Paul:
We are one district away from a complete list of Florida candidates who saythey support FairTax but keep in mind that we have seen that they do flip-flop on it as well as other issues ("anything to get elected"). With that in mind, we all have to be vigilent and watch for the flip-flopping which can happen on a moment's notice.

Does the Fl chapter plan to compile a scorecard on Fed and State Fl candidates?
Miss FairTax Comment by Miss FairTax on March 30, 2010 at 3:37pm
Hey Richard Fischer: Florida FairTax has it's own online store as do a number of our State orgs as well as the National org. In Florida we encourage our members to purchase our non-profit goods. All proceeds go to supporting our state leaders and members with educational materials and event fees.
