Comment by Richard Gates on March 11, 2011 at 12:06pm: Went for a walk this mornig down to the library. Along the way I stopped in and spoke with several business owners on Main St. I was very reasured by the interest they displayed, each of them taking time to jot down notes.

It was a simple thing to do, no expense involved, just information that people are eager to get. I hope you will all give this a try.

I'm new to this site, but not the Fair Tax. A few of us are orginizing state wide Iowa events on the Fair Tax in April. These will include seminars and rallies. If weather permits we'll also start some door knocking. If you are interested in Participating let me know.

Senator Grassley told me that if we had the grassroots support, he would vote for it. You may know that not only is Senator Grassley an Iowa Senator, he is also a senior member of the Senate Finance Committee.

We need your help to get this done. Please contact me to get involved.
