We are now seeking donations for the Kentucky FairTax effort.  Follow the link below to reach the contribution form.  These funds will help us to educate other Kentuckians and build momentum for passing the FairTax in 2013.

Is anyone else out there planning to attend the FairTax Storm the Hill event in Washington DC on July 28-30?  If so, I would like to coordinate with you.

Do we have someone who can staff a booth at this event?

Freedom Festival 2010: Special Announcement

It's getting closer! A landmark event in the Commonwealth is just over a week away!

The organizers for Kentucky Freedom Festival 2010, to be held Saturday, July 10th, from 5pm-8pm at the Capitol Lawn in Frankfort, are pleased to announce that our featured speaker at the inaugural Freedom Festival event will be...

Kevin Jackson
Of "The Black Sphere" & Author of Best-Selling Book "The BIG Black Lie"

Kevin is a charismatic, impassioned speaker and a bold advocate for true Conservatism in America. While having broad appeal across demographics, his personal mission is to reach young people and minority groups in America to help them understand that the policies of the left can only jeopardize their future.

"What you learn about America is people are a lot less interested in race than they are in character." Jackson believes that empowerment comes when you know who you are and what you stand for.

Jackson is a highly sought after national speaker, and has graced the stage with luminaries as Neal Boortz, Herman Cain, Judge Napolitano, and Andrew Breitbart, to name a few.

In addition to his Amazon best-selling, The BIG Black Lie, Jackson has appeared numerous times on the Glenn Beck show, The Factor with Bill O'Reilly, and MSNBC.

"Kevin's presence and powerful message will enrich an already stellar line-up for this statewide celebration of freedom," stated Dan Blanchard, President of the Louisville Tea Party.

To learn more about Kevin, please visit his website: www.theblacksphere.net

In addition to Kevin Jackson, a number of superb grassroots speakers have been invited and will speak on topics such as Immigration Reform, Health Care, Education, Energy Independence, Terrorism, the Founders and the Constitution itself. A first-rate lineup has been assembled. Those confirmed to speak :

Kevin Jackson, of The Black Sphere & author of "The Big Black Lie"
Leland Conway, of Lexington's AM 630, WLAP
Kent Masterson Brown, Attorney
Brian Goettl, of Conservative Edge
Jerry Stephenson, of the KY Education Restoration Alliance
Bobby Alexander, Sgt. Major (Ret), Central Kentucky Tea Party Patriots
Dan Blanchard, President, Louisville Tea Party
Jim Waters, of the Bluegrass Institute
Joyce Mucci, of the Federation for American Immigration Reform
Dr. Rand Paul, Conservative Candidate for US Senate
Andy Barr, Conservative Candidate for US Congress, 6th District
Todd Lally, Conservative Candidate for US Congress, 3rd District

Entertainment: What would a decent celebration of freedom be without music? There will be plenty of it, patriotic, pop and inspirational. Those bands & artists to take the Freedom Festival stage are:

~Louisville-based acapella vocal band, Water's Edge (www.watersedgevocals.org)
~Lexington's Mike Huff (will perform "God Bless the USA")
~Louisville's own "The Over-Reactors" (www.over-reactors.com)
~Nationally-known Patriotic duo, "Rivoli Revue" (www.rivolirevue.com)

~Additionally, up and coming comedian, David Bizianes will provide spice and comic relief.

Booth Space: If you wish to have a booth on July 10th please contact Wendy Caswell today at eleganceshoestring@yahoo.com. Space is limited and filling up fast. Booths are a mere $50, paid in advance. These resources are needed to offset the expense of the event itself. So, don't miss this opportunity to have your group, business, or organization represented at what is quickly shaping up to be the biggest rally of WE THE PEOPLE Kentucky has ever witnessed. Feel free to come out and set up your table, product, etc. anytime after noon.
