I'm looking for mew ideas to write Letters to the Editor for the FairTax. And I don't mind plagerising (spelling?) for the cause (as long as its with permission of course).

An Open Letter to Congress

Several recent polls put Congress’s favorability rating in single digits.  You are presiding over a time of serious national decline.  You have failed to deal with a wide range of fiscal and economic problems.  Rome is burning.  We, the people, know it and so should you.

Let’s focus on the Economy. Some of you are beginning to see that the income tax stands in the way of a robust and sustainable economic recovery.  Proposed solutions include a VAT, a “flat” tax, and a federal consumption tax.  Of all the options, only one gets at the core need of outright replacement of the income tax.  What’s needed is the FairTax.

The FairTax bill has been held captive in the House Ways and Means Committee since 1999.  Whenever we send in letters we are usually answered with polite, boilerplate form letters that border on impertinence.  To the 76 members of Congress who have cosponsored HR25 and S13, consider yourselves exempt from this message.

To the rest of you, ignorance of the FairTax bill is inexcusable after $23 million dollars worth of research and countless pleadings from your “employers” from around the country. Why do you refuse to deal forthrightly with the FairTax?

If you are serious about bringing back jobs, and the “made in USA” label, you can redeem your poor ratings, by the immediate passage of the FairTax bill.  Your grandchildren will see you in a much more favorable light than your contemporaries see you now.

Latest FairTax column in the Fairborn Daily Herald by our gifted state director Steve Curtis. Enjoy!

On 12-15-11 the Fairborn Daily Herald posted state director Steve Curtis latest column "Congress and the FairTax". Well worth the read. The newspaper also published a letter to the editor from Bill Teti (Fairborn resident and FairTax friend) regarding the FairTax.

12-16-11 the Fairborn Daily Herald has a commentary on the editorial pages by a guy name of William Rice regarding taxes and the "rich". The title is "the rich don't need a free ride" and may be found on www.otherwords.org WARNING, he is a leftie!!

Lastly, I just want to point out that our local hometown newspaper is continuing to do its job by keeping the tax reform issue alive. Do we know any other paper that is doing this? I sure don't.

Dec. 9, 2011 Fairborn Daily Herald "FairTax Column" by Steve Curtis (state director) was a very timely one. The FairTax and how it could effect our Christmas shopping. Hopefully, its recieved some attention and generated some thinking. Don't forget, you can go to www.ohfairtax.org and see previous columns. Go ahead and use them. That's what they're there for.

The paper was also great about making sure they put in my announcement of no meeting this month because of the Christmas holiday season. Looking forward to January already!

Just sent to the President,

Read my Lips,
I don't want Government Health Care. Don't want cap and trade either. Cap the trial lawyers and the settlements they get. Control costs by passing the Fair Tax. Do you care about our nation? Then you will pass the Fair Tax Asap. That is the only thing which will save our nation from ruin. Get on it or get out.
