Thank you so much Nancy, I have learned more in the last 5 days than in the last 5 years about fair tax. Thanks for you help and remember, I Am 5 days old. Jamie Wheeler captured my attention and has made a fair tax obsessed monster out of me...lol. Paul, A Fellow Patriot

Paul, I forgot to say that I always point out that Fair Tax provides real economic stimulus and enumerate the reasons why. I usually say that I won't consider any tax and spend bills until the economy is going again, which would happen under the Fair Tax Plan.
In other words, don't spend what you don't have. Broaden the tax base and increase employment, allow business to return home, and put out the welcome mat for tax haven dollars. Revenue first. Spending comes second.

Paul, I like it. Brief, concise, straight to the point. Of course, always add FairTax.org and FairTaxNation.com somewhere, but you've already heard that.

Dear Congress persons, Senators, Mr. President and Czars,

Please vote NO on the Climate Change and Energy Bill. A change will be taking place in 2010 and 2012, but it's going to be in the Congress and Senate. We the people are fed up. $1,000,000,000,000 dollars is a hell of a lot of money. (by the way, so is $10,000,000,000,000). I also demand my constitution back while your at it. Repeal all the tarps, and get rid of all those unaccountable CZARS too please. We the people are begging our law makers and protectors to keep us free and safe, not to tax us to death.

What do you think of posting our letters in DICUSSIONS with our names:

EX: LttE by Phil: and that is where we he can post all his for us to look, read, and let the legal plagerism begin.
Another one for each of us sharing LttE that have been published so it will be easier for everyone to find letters and know who they are from. Great idea Phil to share the where and date of publish, when known.

here is a letter I sent which was published yesterday. Fell free to use it or parts of it on your own letter. It was in response to a local FT opponent. Judge for yourself.

Fair Tax would put us back in control
I would like to respond to Mr. Andy Myers letter on the Fair Tax. I am a proponent of the Fair Tax. I believe it is the absolute best way to put our great country back on its feet. The current income tax system is government sponsored theft of our money. Replacing the 16th amendment with the fair tax would stop that. People would not be in a position to pay a fixed amount of taxes. Under the Fair Tax, YOU will be responsible for how much you pay in taxes. You pay on only NEW goods and services. Want to buy a new car, the cost will include a 23% sales tax, don’t want to pay that, buy a used car (one year or older), there will be NO sales tax on that car.

In other words, you decide when and how much! YOU, not the government, YOU! I agree with Mr. Myers when he stated “Allowing the “out of touch” in Washington to have control over our hard earned wages is an act of stupidity.” That statement is a fact. The Fair Tax does remove that control from our hard earned wages. It puts us back in control, which is why Congress fights it.

Please Mr. Myers, reconsider your position on this matter. I invite you (and anyone who reads this letter) to come to any of our monthly meetings and find out for yourself.

Thank you for allowing me to have my say here.
