AARP recognizes anyone over 50 for its
membership so this group is for those 50
and older. We can explore ideas to lobby
senior organizations for support.

We who remember back "in the good old days" (for me, the 40's, 50's, and 60's) can to some extent, identify with the current "experts" who rebelled against authority, "dropped out", etc. though others graduated, fought in Vietnam (for the red, white, and blue), returned to earn advanced degrees, and used same for a number of years, reared families (some of us rearing grandkids), and now need to challenge ourselves and others to "finish well!!".
Relative to the "Made in the USA", Ohio and the Midwest was the most productive region of the world - we now wear the label of "the rust belt." Time indeed to return to the principles that made us great! Dave.
John, I have to get ready for work now. There are a number of communities in High Point, Greensboro and Winston. I don't know if you would contact the activities director and ask if you can give a presentation or not. I will see what I can find out this afternoon and get back with you.
I work at a retirement community in NC and wonder if anyone is trying to contact this group. I would love to do something but can't since I work there. We need seniors going into these communities and getting the information out about the FAIRTAX. (Yes, I am a 59 yr. old senior)
I thought of another one
5. When the old farmer decides to give up the farm his family will get it or he can sell it with out giving it to the government.
Dave
1. No income tax on Social Security or retirement money.
2. No death tax
3. A pre-bate every month with your social security check and any portion of your retirement money you wish to receive. No limit on the amount you withdraw. (Right now you may want to take it all and bury it)
4. You pay the tax on your lottery ticket when you buy it; so when you receive your winnings there is NO tax.
