We are needing folks to come out and join us at the Dayton Post Office tomorrow (4/17) to hold FairTax signs and maybe pass out literature> Its only for 2 hours (from 4 to 6).

And we have our FairTax monthly meeting on Wednesday (4/18) at Roush's Restaurant. Meeting starts at 6:30 and goes til 8:00. Come out and bring a friend of mine.

Did you read DDN's Sunday paper? Had a whole page + on the tax issue. Better late than never I guess. Fairborn Daily Herald STILL a better paper for the tax reform issue.

Didn't recall seeing this here before. If I'm wrong, my bad. But we need to get behind this folks!

A note from FairTax Regional Director, Phil Hinson:

As most of you are aware, HR 1040 is the only flat tax bill in the House of Representatives, which is where tax reform legislation is supposed to originate in our system of government. I just checked on it and here is what I found.
The bill is now up to 10 co-sponsors. Hr 25 has 66.

POPVOX shows 773 votes recorded on the HR 1040 page with 68% opposed. HR 25 has vote a total of 5,276 with 80% in favor. That means that approximately 4,221 voters have registered their support for HR 25, while 248 have voted for HR 1040.

Just sent an e-mail to WIN America asking them to consider using the FairTax as their standard as it is an already established bill (HR25/S13) and has cosponsors in each house, has been well researched, and meets their needs. I also made it clear politely that i expected a response. We'll see what happens.

Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the FairTax Act of 2009, HR 25/ S 296

FYI. As a candidate for Congress here in Ohio's 7th district, I just wanted to advise that I will be running a significant number of cable TV ads (Time Warner Cable) over the next two weeks advocating immediate passage of the Fair Tax. They will run in the Springfield, Chillicothe, and Lancaster cable markets. They have already started in the latter two cable tv markets. I'm self financed and I'm literally putting my money where my mouth is. The incumbent Republican congressman in this district has not co sponsored the Fair Tax Act in the past and now looks like maybe he will since his web site has changed now on the subject. A little competition and pressure at election time goes a long way, doesn't it????????

We were in the Springfield Memorial Day Parade. The weather was beautiful and there were people all along the 2 mile route. We had a trailer pulled by Barbara Wilson's car. She and her husband spend the last couple of days preparing for the parade. They did a fantastic job. It is very tiring; but I think we all had a good time.

I will be on the Chuck Douglas show, News/Talk 610 WTVN in Columbus, Ohio on April 4, from 5:00 to 6:00(?)pm discussing the FairTax. We will be doing both discussion and call-ins, so tell all your friends. Obviously, the more calls, the better!!

We (Beavercreek/FairTax) did get involved in your Precinct. We have John Mitchel running for Steve Austria's seat and CJ is running for Central Committee. Probably some in your area are running. I hope they will comment.
