Replace All Federal Taxes on Income with the Fair Tax Act , HR 25

Path to Prosperity

I just received a survey from my Congressman (the Hon. Blake Farenthold, TX-27) regarding the Path to Prosperity. This was my response to him:

Mr. Farenthold, I do support the Path to Prosperity because it is definitely the best of the two plans. But let us not forget about the FairTax Act of 2011 (HR-25). We MUST try to get our constituents to understand that the FairTax will do exactly what the USA needs.

HR-25 would provide the best economic incentive package for the United States of America. It is progressive, it helps our lower- and middle-class workers, it will bring 10 MILLION jobs back to the US, it will repatriate the $14 TRILLION dollars in corporate earnings lost to overseas investment, it promotes savings & investment amongst all classes of US citizens, it untaxes ALL legal US residents up to the Nat’l Poverty Guideline, it eliminates Corporate Welfare, and it will close the "tax gap".

The "Path to Prosperity" couldn't begin to touch that, but I will support it if it will get us moving in the right direction.

Thanks Billie. This Pathway to Prosperity should be a common goal between all congress persons right now. Although not all may have a survey as my congressman did, your congressman should know about it. I urge you to contact yours to let him/her know how you feel about it.
