While participating at these tea parties across Virginia, working at the Shenandoah Valley Tea Party it accord to me that we should ask those from the crowd that stop buy the booth, and both know about, and love the fairtax, if they would like to help our busy booths right then and there. The tea parties represent one of the greatest opportunities to spread information on the fairtax, and were missing opportunities because we don't have enough people at the booths to explain the fairtax.

Shenandoah Valley Tea Party: Volunteers needed for FairTax table. Since Staunton does not yet have a community coordinator yet (that I know of), I have been asked to speak on behalf of the FairTax. Come out and cheer me on. I have never had a public speaking gig, so wish me luck. I could use some help manning the table, particularly when I take the stage. I had a blast with Jeff, Josh, Buck, Paul and Keith last Saturday, so who wants to join me in Staunton? It will run from 6-9 on August 1st at Gypsy Hill Park. Let's get some people on board and find a community coordinator for Staunton or Augusta county since there isn't one (that I know of) yet. http://www.shenvalleyteaparty.com/
Who wants to have some fun?

Hello FairTax Supporter,

On July 25th the FairTax will have a booth and conduct a seminar at the Richmond Tea Party. Please join me in encouraging other Tea party goers to join our ranks. If you are rusty and feel unsure if you are the person to talk to others about the FairTax, don’t let that stop you. We will be hosting a seminar entitled The FairTax Made Easy. Come and learn all over again why you thought the FairTax was so good for America.

So many of you have asked what can I do to help support the FairTax. Here is your chance. Make a home made sign and come to our booth, walk through the crowd and sign up new supporters. It’s not hard; it just takes a little time. Isn’t your Country worth that? You’ve voted and still we have not gotten the results that you were hoping for. It is time to get busy. Let us show our fellow tax payers that we have the stimulus package that will not require the Country to go into debt. We have the ultimate jobs bill. We can reduce graft and corruption by half in Washington DC. We can let everyone there know that with passage of the FairTax we will have seen the greatest transfer of power back to the people in over 200 years. It’s long over due, don’t you think!

Make plans and come join me.

Date: Saturday, July 25, 2009
Start Time: 1:00 pm End Time: 7:00 pm (Time Zone: US/Eastern)

Location: Chesterfield County Fairgrounds

I hope to see you there,

Volunteers needed for the Netroots Conference, Pittsburgh, PA Aug 13-16

One month until the Netroots Conference!

Netroots Nation will take place from August 13-16, 2009 in Pittsburgh, PA at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. http://www.netrootsnation.com/

We need a team leader who will be responsible for setting up and taking down the booth -- and spend time as needed to make sure our booth is staffed.

We need three volunteers to staff the booth for this event.

We are also in need of funds to purchase materials for the booth!
Please mail donations to:
Illinois Fair Tax
P.O. 808
Oak Forest, IL 60452

Pay pal: fairtaxnow@aol.com
or through links on www.FairTaxNation.com or www.ilfairtax.org

Of course there are many other important events both in DC and locally where FairTax needs to have a presence. Any excess funds collected will be used to fund our presence at additional events.

Remember -- donations are not tax deductible!

Thank you for your help as we move FairTax forward!

Please contact me to volunteer!

Questions? Just ask!

I sent a letter to Sen. Webb IRT the FairTax. Check out the canned reply on my blog http://www.jasonguidry.net My original letter and his reply are both there. Somehow my FairTax support request got an illegal immigration response. Go figure.

Hi Paul, I'm a CC in NOVA and might be able to find a presenter. Should I just email you for her contact information?
