FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.
On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.
I just read your post in another forum and thought I'd reply directly to you. First, you should join your local state group here:

As you can see, it is small right now but the goal will be to grow the supporters in every states and get them working together to educate more Americans until we reach critical mass. Think of the CT group as a meeting place that can be used for planning, organizing, communicating, etc. Just as it is difficult to have much of a meeting with just 1 or 2 people, it is difficult to do so here too, so talk to others in CT about the FairTax everyday and encourage them to join the group. You'll notice a "leadership list" on the main CT page. There is one leader in bold and two that are crossed out. The one in bold is still active and the information has been updated. Consider giving him a call. Perhaps you can help him and the two of you can work together to develop more support.
If you need supplies such as professional trifolds, bumper stickers, t-shirts, etc. call national at 800 FAIRTAX and talk with Aaron...or send him an email.
Check out the NJ group page and consider contacting Jim Bennett for ideas. He is a member of this group as well so you can do that through on his page just as I'm writing this on your page. Jim is an excellent State leader and lives in Summit NJ...not to far from CT. He may know of others that can work with you to grow support in your state.
You can also go to the groups tab at the top and look through the various groups. Perhaps you can get involved in one of the other groups and help them plan. This network was just started in January so it isn't big enough yet to be real active but we are growing fast so it is a good time to get engaged.

Welcome to the site.
Please join your states group under the 'Groups' tab at the top. We are planning a huge year for the FairTax in 2009 so you came to the right place.
Please invite every FairTax supporter you know to join as well. We want to build an army of supporters as quickly as we can.
Thanks for Joining FairTax Nation!
