The chart above shows the Case-Shiller index for housing prices (solid blue line) and the 50 year trend line (dotted blue) and 100 year line (dotted red). Notice the bubble in the solid blue line. The Federal Reserve caused this bubble with easy money policies including a hugh increase in checkbook money (thru low interest rates and low interest loans) from 1997 to 2006. Greenspan's Fed was the problem. The Fed is as big a problem as the income tax. The Fed caused the NASDAQ bubble, the housing bubble and along with government is solely responsible for the financial crisis. Housing prices will not becoming back anytime soon! They are still way above the 100 year trend line. Replacing the income tax, etc. is the first step in asserting our sovereignty over the Federal Gov as our Constitution intended. Just as bad, the same people that caused the financial crisis with way too much borrowing and spending are being allowed to "fix?" the problem by employing more borrowing and spending!

Meanwhile, go read the link below to a 12MAY09 Moneynews story. The Fed cannot account for $9 trillion of our money. $9 TRILLION - For crying out loud!

Finally, did you know that when someone files his/her first Form 1040 in order to get a refund, at the age of 14, 16 or whatever, that they have effectively declared themselves both a US citizen and a resident of the District of the United States for tax purposes? By doing this you are treated as a nonresident alien individual of the United States under Treasury Decision (TD) 2313 that resulted from the Brushaber Supreme Court decision of 1916. For the average American the Brushaber case should be, beyond contention, the most momentous, and consequential Supreme Court case ever tried…together, of course, with the beautifully lucid TD 2313, which implements it. For, they nail down two major points: the unambiguous and unarguable definition of the ‘United States,’ and the income tax obligations of most Americans—due to their relationship to this particular ‘United States’—namely, NONE. This isn't even mentioned in high school or college history books! Why? Because most academics are big government statists. You have a one time only option to elect out of this status. See section (6013(g)(1) of 26 USC §6013 at the Cornell University Law School website. The website address is listed below.

O.K. Dean, I invited people to be your friend, and I still don't see any body on your list but me. Steve said you did not respond and he feels depressed. Are you coming to the Springfield parade tomorrow? Steve needs a hug because of your rejection; so I am going to see if I can find some one to hug him at the parade. Billie

Dean I can NOT get you friends you have to go to "Invite" and pull your e-mail address book, then invite everyone. Bob Whigham invited 3500 or something like that and probably 50 joined. Then go to "members" and if you know anyone on the members page invite them to be your friend. Or if there is someone on the members page that looks good invite them. I invited a lot of folks just from their logo. Some of them are pretty neat. Billie

Hi Dean!

Welcome to FairTax Nation!

FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.

On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.

Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us also.

Thank you!

Please invite every FairTax supporter you know to join as well. We want to build an army of supporters as quickly as we can.
