The FairTax will eliminate all corporate taxes and therefore level the playing field between all corporate entities in regard to those who can afford to lobby and those who can not.
Anytime you hear a politician ranting about taxing those evil…
Ron,
I don't doubt for one minute that the tax a business pays is derived from revenue and is built into price like any other cost. I seriously question the idea that the share of the costs of government meted out to all business…
All costs, whether they are for labor, taxes, rent or any other expense are paid for by the consumer. Its built into the price. Fewer taxes will either mean a reduced price for the product or service, or an increase in profits. If…
Louis
Your comparing apples to oranges by comparing federal income taxes to rent, labor or materials. Corporations did not choose of their own free will to have taxes levied on their income. The federal government forces those taxes on…
If we accept the premise that no corporation pays income tax based on their ability to pass these costs onto the consumer, we just as easily assume no corporation pays rent to occupy their business spaces, or pays for labor or…
HI Jamie :)
I'm glad to see you have had the energy to keep at it full bore! I still watch for your updates :) Hope all is well on your end!
and thanks for the reply, I really hadn't even thought about lobbying. You are…
Dustin, ANY and EVERY business does not pay any taxes period. Major companies spend a lot of money (wasted) trying to avoid sending money to the feds under the guise of federal taxes. They pay a lot of money to others to avoid the…
also I personally have always loved questions regarding the FT because it forces me to do some research if I don't know the answer, and makes me better prepared for the next FT question ;)
TWO quick notes... back in January, Jamie.. You mentioned that gas will hit $4 within a couple months. Well not it is March and I paid $4.19 in Blaine, WA last weekend ;)
And an interesting thing about Children... if we didn't have kids…
I'm not trying to be difficult here, but I'm not sure your response is really relevant to the GE issue. In regards to the FairTax, I'm quite familiar. I've read the bill a number of times, and I've read Neil…
No corporation pays income tax. They consider that a cost, along with compliance of the income tax as a cost. Businesses pass those costs onto the consumer at each stage of production by factoring them into the price of everything we buy.…
We're NOT giving up by ANY stretch of the imagination...however the response I got seemed mamby pamby in that he wants me to pat him on the back for co-sponsoring a piece of legislation that would get rid of the Tax Code, states in a round about sort of way that what he is looking for is the FairTax yet won't by-pass that bill for the ONE that impliments EVERYTHING he states.
If you saw all the letters I got to this point it might be even clearer why I feel this way, but again NOT giving up!! The FairTax IS the solution for a whole lot of things!!!!!!
Yes Dustin the Tea Party people and Fair Tax people fit together like a glove! We had a great Tea Party here in Myrtle Beach today and I was honored to get to speak on behalf of the Fair Tax at it. We probably have doubled our support today nation wide for the Fair Tax through the Tea Parties.
Look on amazon.com for used copies of the book. You can usually get them very cheap there. Also go to www.fairtax.org and look for aides and lititure you can get from them cheap.
Marc
That's a great start. Do you have Fair Tax lititure and sign up cards for these people? Do you have any copies of the Fair Tax books by Neil Boortz? I see your starting from scratch here and I'll help all I can in helping you jump ahead of the game.
Marc
Dustin any advice or help you need with forming your group just send me a message. We are all here to help and know you have to crawl before you walk. We just want to help you avoid mistakes we have already made and some frustriating nights!
