Sorry you are no longer in the area. We had a good time today--the parade drew a large crowd and the weather was good. We handed out a ton of FT literature and talked to a lot of folks. Rodger and I are going to DC for at least one of the rallies: Glenn Beck's on Aug. 28 and the 9/11 rally. Perhaps we'll see you there.

Hi, Louis. Good to hear from you. I have wondered about you. Does your note imply that you have moved to DC, or that you posted your message from DC? We still are active FairTax supporters and regularly attend our Dayton Mall Area meetings. Would love to see you there. If you are in town, the FairTaxers are going to march in the Memorial Day parade in Springfield tomorrow, from 9 A.M. until noon, with a cookout to follow. Come if you can, and bring your family. Just bring a bag of chips or a pack of hot dogs or a covered dish of some kind. We'll meet at 8:45 at the corner of W. High anLowery Streets.

Thanks for the kind words, Louis. I am very hesitant to respond by phone. I recently was the target of some nasty and expensive attacks on my computer--very sophisticated hacking, according to my brother, a super geek. My husband and I also received some intimidating hate mail after we had a letter published in the Wall Street Journal in August. I'd rather communicate electronically, if you don't mind, until I can feel less threatened.
