I understand entirely. We don't want to "tax" anybody, lol! That's just fine. We'll keep communication with you here and keep you involved. Sounds like you've got a lot on your plate with health cares issues and I hope you are managing well.
I am glad you and Nancy have connected.. she is passionate about the FairTax! I wish we had more FairTaxers like her. I think you will enjoy meeting her, I did. I am a Community Coordinator in Centerville OH. If I can be of help to you, please let me know .
Patty, here I am again. Have you called Congressman Jim Jordan's office to urge him to support the Fair Tax? With every single spending bill proposed on Capitol Hill, I call and sometimes more than that. We need to flood his office with calls. If you have friends and aquaintences that support the Fair Tax, ask them to make a quick call.
I call our senators but get nothing. There's hope for Jordan. Pat Tiberi seems to be the only congressman in our state that supports the Fair Tax. I think he has district 12.
Welcome aboard. I'm very glad you contacted me. I'm fairly new myself and just in the process of setting up my first meeting. Shooting for May 7 at 7 pm but I'm waiting for the Marion Public Librarty to confirm that.
Like Dave said, join up with the Ohio group. Dave and another member has been extremely helpful to me.
Currently I am making plans to attend the Columbus Tea Party on the State house lawn on April 15 @ 6 pm to 7:30. If you'd like to go, let me know. I'll be picking up a fellow up in Shelby, I think, but I'm working on getting another guy from up there to pick him up. If you go, be sure and make a sign! If you have time to have a Fair Tax shirt made up by then that would be great.
Again, welcome aboard.
Welcome Patty. please join the Ohio Group. We have a member Nancy Gatchel that I believe is your general area on the network here that is very active and I would suggest you contact her and maybe you can work together to get involved. Please invite all of your family and friends to join us here at Fair Tax Nation as well. Again Welcome.
FairTax Nation a site designed and managed by FairTax volunteers to serve the needs of FairTax advocates by providing a place to share ideas, find resources and create new opportunities with the goal of passing the FairTax HR 25.
On Nation we are working on many projects. One is our 50 State Campaign. We want to link at least 1,000 active volunteers in each state to work together in a national effort to pass the FairTax. That would give us at least 50,000 active volunteers able to communicate, plan events, etc. I know some people want a FairTax rally in Washington D.C. This is how we build the organization to make this event and many others possible.
Please feel free to invite your FairTax friends to join us.
