Cap-and-Trade Tax Must Be Stopped

I am a global warming heretic, not a global warming denier. It is likely true that the global temperature is slowly increasing and has been for centuries. It is not true that this climate change results from man-made carbon dioxide.

My scientific background along with extensive personal research tells me that climatology is a pseudo-science and cannot be trusted to forecast climate. Climate science representations are not simply wrong; they are utterly misleading. The climate projection models have been used to create a state of fear. Not since Orson Wells’ "War of the Worlds" has the media so successfully used a fictional account to create mass panic.

Now that panic is being mined by the politicians to create an unnecessary, ineffective, and ultimately very damaging wealth transfer mechanism.

I have had a very strong 'gut' feeling from day one that this was a hoax! Maybe, more accurately, it was just my total distrust of the government! I am sending you a friend request to help me stay abreast of that mess!

I don't see where you are a GOOOH member yet!? Check it out at www.GOOOH.com and get on board! Bill

I attend the Tea Parties and the Liberty groups. I feel all of this is important. We feel that if they would have passed H.R. 25 last year we would not be in the financial mess that we are now experiencing. Just by joining this group you help our number to grow and maybe the Congress will see that we will try to put member in Congress that will pass our bill. Billie in Beavercreek

Dear Peter,
Thanks for your kind comment. Unfortunately, we were not able to access your WSJ letter. The address you gave did not work, and when we went to the WSJ site, the answer was that the letters section from 6/11 was no longer available. You will probably be interested in a letter, published in Nature on 7/22. that was signed by Rodger, among some 50 or so prominent scientists, worldwide. If you write us at gamburch@aol.com with your email address, we can send you the letter as an attachment. You might also send a copy of your letter. Perhaps we'll meet some day at a FairTax event.
Keeping up the good fight,
Kate and Rodger
